1008 Carbon Steel Coil is a low-carbon cold-rolled steel coil manufactured according to ASTM A1008 and AISI/SAE standards. It is mainly used for lightweight structures and stamped parts with high requirements for formability. Typical applications include cold-stamped parts, shell panels, and furniture structural components.

Facilitates Elongation and Processing

With a carbon content of 0.05–0.10% and an elongation ≥28%, it reduces the risk of cracking during cold stamping, bending, and stretching, making it suitable for processing large-area thin sheets.

Strength Suitable for Light-Load Structures

Tensile strength 270–410 MPa, yield strength ≥170 MPa, meeting the stress requirements of furniture, light-duty frames, and general stamped parts.

Diverse Surface Finishes

Available for bright cold-rolled, pickled, oiled, and optional coated surfaces, suitable for direct use in stamping or as a substrate before coating or lamination.
