2205 duplex stainless steel wire is a wire product made from duplex stainless steel as the base material through a drawing process. It is mainly used for fasteners, braided parts and structural connection parts with specific requirements for strength, elongation and resistance to chloride corrosion.

Balancing Strength and Elongation

Tensile strength 620–850 MPa, yield strength 450–600 MPa, and elongation ≥25%, providing both load-bearing capacity and a certain degree of plastic deformation capability.

Wide Wire Diameter Range

Diameter range 0.2–12 mm, with custom sizes available to meet specific requirements. Suitable for fine weaving and the manufacture of medium-load-bearing structural components.

Supply by Processing Condition

Available in annealed, cold-drawn, and straightened states, with a hardness ≤310 HB. Available in bright, pickled, or oiled finishes to suit various processing and usage conditions.
