The Cr 24–26% and Ni 19–22% composition system forms an oxide film at high temperatures to slow down the oxidation process, making it suitable for furnace or heat-treated components.

 

Suitable for machining

With a hardness ≤217 HB, and supplied as bar stock, it can be machined by turning, milling, etc., for manufacturing shafts or heat-resistant parts.

 

Multiple processing options

It can be produced by hot rolling, cold drawing, forging, or machining, with diameters of 6–500 mm and lengths of 1–6 m available to suit different machining allowances and application requirements.

A: When the working environment involves continuous high temperatures (such as inside a furnace or heating equipment), 310S should be selected; 304 is mainly used in normal or medium temperature environments and is not suitable for long-term high-temperature conditions.
